Completing
the training
in 1973, he was then employed by the State of Oklahoma in Duncan,
Oklahoma, serving as the District Court Reporter for Stephens,
Cotton and Jefferson Counties. In addition to serving as
the District Court Reporter he also performed free-lance court reporting
for local attorneys.
Eager to advance in the
Court Reporting field, Lindquist and his family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where
he became associated with the largest free-lance Court Reporting firm, reporting depositions and Federal Grand
Juries.
He
later formed his own Court Reporting business, Lindquist Reporting Service, which ultimately resulted in employing several reporters and support staff.
After sixteen years,
he sold the business and looked forward to spending more time with his children and
grandchildren in semi-retirement.
When
he determined that he still missed serving the legal community, he recently formed Lindquist Video Service,
providing videotaped depositions and related services to meet the needs of the civil, criminal and corporate world.
